About me
I’m Orsi Kocsis, a Bristol-based garden and landscape designer with a passion for creating beautiful, inspiring outdoor spaces. I design gardens, landscapes, and green spaces that capture the essence of nature and evoke a sense of wonder and connection.
I graduated with distinction from the Corvinus University of Budapest with degrees in both Landscape Architecture and Garden Design. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside leading designers at internationally renowned studios such as Grant Associates (creators of Gardens by the Bay in Singapore), Gillespies, Omgeving, and BDP. During this time, I contributed to a wide range of prestigious projects in the UK - including Shakespeare’s New Place visitor garden in Stratford-upon-Avon - as well as major works overseas.
Since founding Terra Mondo Design in 2020, I’ve helped clients across the UK, Australia, and Hungary transform their gardens into beautiful, contemporary oases. The Story Behind the Name
Terra Mondo Design was inspired by Roman mythology: Terra or Tellus was once believed to be the creator of the planet. Nowadays, we use the word terra with a much broader meaning, referring to the earth, land or territory. At the same time changing your surroundings is also a personal journey. Mondo originated from the Latin mundus, representing the idea that we always build from our social memories and cultural influences. Terra Mondo Design aims to merge these two forces to create your unique natural outdoor space.
